What is “Home & School”?
The St. Joseph’s “Home and School” Association is your Parent/Teacher Organization, dedicated to providing:
ü Volunteer support for various events held throughout the school year
ü Financial support to meet the needs of the school
Goals for the 2009-2010 School Year:
1. Ensure a means of communication and information between parents, teachers, staff and the Board of Education.
2. Promote understanding of the total educational undertaking, both in the home and in the school.
3. Ensure the best possible means of assistance and support to school administration and faculty.
4. Provide informative speakers to educate parents on topics concerning the spiritual, emotional and educational needs of our children.
5. Provide financial support to the needs of the school.
6. Increase active interest and participation in the Home and School Association.

We have many new families this year at St. Joseph’s, and we hope each will participate in the Hawk Hike. Participation in the Hawk Hike planning is a great way to meet other parents. We hope you can join us for the next planning meetings:

If you are not able to attend meetings, please let us know if you can assist with a committee. There is always help needed outside of meeting times. Please let us know what committee you would like to volunteer for, by contacting Debbie Keil at JDkeil2@netzero.net or calling 664-9574.
