Dear Parents,
I enjoyed seeing many of you at conferences and sharing in your child’s progress. Your involvement in your child’s education lets them know that their education is important to you.
I am very grateful for your support during our week of severe illness. We returned to school this week with a normal absentee rate of 5% and much healthier students.
November will be another busy month. The Angel for A Day program for 3rd and 4th grade girls began with their first meeting in October. The November meeting has been scheduled the 18th. Meetings will be held in the Parish Center. Our eighth grade students will begin their journey to Confirmation with the enrollment ceremony on Sunday, November 8th followed by their first faith formation session at 9:15 in the gym. Mr. Dassinger has done a wonderful job of assisting our students in their faith journeys.
Our next Home and School meeting will be held on Monday, November 9th at 6:30 pm in the gym. We will recap the Hawk Hike among many other topics. I am very grateful to all who made this event such a wonderful success! It is always enjoyable to spend the day with others from our school family.
School will dismiss for the Thanksgiving holiday at 3:15 on Wednesday, November 25th. School will not be in session November 26th and 27th. Classes will resume on Monday, November 30th. November 25th and November 30th will be a make up days. I hope your Thanksgiving holiday is filled with the love of family and friends.
Fondly,
Mrs. Phyllis Konchar
